Thomas Gibson fired from ‘Criminal Minds’ after kicking writer

Thomas Gibson has been fired from “Criminal Minds,” a day after it was announced he was suspended from the show for kicking a writer during a dispute.

CBS released a statement Friday, saying “Thomas Gibson has been dismissed from Criminal Minds. Creative details for how the character’s exit will be addressed in the show will be announced at a later date.”

Maybe they’ll have him kick the bucket.

Sorry.

TMZ also reported Gibson, who spent 11 years on the show, was ordered to undergo anger management training a few years ago after striking someone on the crew.

Gibson, who previously starred in ABC’s “Dharma & Greg,” told TMZ “I love Criminal Minds and have put my heart and soul into it for the last twelve years. I had hoped to see it through to the end, but that won’t be possible now. I would just like to say thank you to the writers, producers, actors, our amazing crew, and, most importantly, the best fans that a show could ever hope to have.”
