‘Criminal Minds’ actor Thomas Gibson suspended for kicking writer

“Criminal Minds” actor Thomas Gibson has been suspended for two weeks from the CBS show for kicking a writer during an on-set dispute.

Gibson, 54, who has played Special Agent Aaron Hotcher for more than a decade, was acting and directing a scene a couple weeks back, when he and the unnamed writer got into a dispute. Things escalated and Gibson kicked the guy in the leg, according to TMZ.

What is this guy … 4?

The writer called his agent to report the assault. The agent called CBS and Gibson got busted.

Writers are so sensitive.

Gibson told TMZ he kicked the writer after the man became aggressive. “There were creative differences on the set and a disagreement. I regret that it occurred. We all want to work together as a team to make the best show possible.”

Right. Sounds like some real team-building is going on down there.

“Criminal Minds” is currently working on Season 12.
